Free time in the old Sintra town – do not miss the opportunity to taste the delicious pastries: Travesseiro and Queijada. Drive through the natural wonders of the Sintra Natural Park and stop for a fabulous photo opportunity at the Roca Cape cliffs, the westernmost point of Continental Europe.

In the beginning of the 20th century, this was where the first summer holiday houses for the very rich social classes were built. Returning to Lisbon, drive along the coast passing the town of Estoril and its Casino.

Ik had online al foto’s van de Kaartengalerij gezien, maar het in het echt zien was een totaal andere ervaring. De plafonds en details in de musea zijn ongelooflijk. Het kan er wel druk worden, vooral in de buurt van de Sixtijnse Kapel, maar over het geheel genomen was het een van de beste ervaringen van onze reis naar Rome.

The Vatican Museums were honestly much larger than I expected. We spent nearly four hours walking through different galleries and still felt like we didn’t see everything. The Sistine Chapel was definitely the highlight of the visit. Having our entry arranged in advance made the whole experience less stressful, especially seeing how long the regular ticket lines were outside.

This tour was the absolute best part of our trip to Rome! Booking on the website was so much more easier than we thought, we just showed the voucher and skipped the huge line outside. Inside the museum is huge and totally took my breath away. We saw the amazing giant golden ball statue in the courtyard, it actually spins when people push it and looks so cool in photos! The ancient buildings and the gardens around it are beautiful. The Sistine Chapel was just unforgettable and worth it alone! Everything was very well organize and no stress at all, which is great when you travel a lot. Totally recommend it to everyone!

Inside, the massive wall paintings and beautiful gold ceilings completely took my breath away. Every single room is filled with incredible history and stunning art.
